Difference in natural sunlight / solarium
Sunday, December 7, 2008 14:27Artificial UV rays put together differently than natural. With the skin they are still not friendly to.
The various rays
UV-B rays are long as causing skin cancer known, so they were down to a small part of the tubes out.
But UV-A radiation, which today in solariums primarily used are dangerous. They leave the skin to age faster and can also cause skin cancer.
The dose is what counts
Thus by UV-A radiation the instant tanning can be caused, the UV-A dose significantly higher than that of natural radiation. Sometimes even up to 10 x higher than in the natural sun.
The health risk is greater. Even the remaining small percentage of UV-B radiation can still cause skin cancer. Measurements in solariums also show nearly all of the equipment was far too high irradiance. Are already at a MED (Minimal erythema (sunburn) dose) damage in the genome, which may trigger skin cancer trigger genetic changes, as in many solariums were ten to twelve MED achieved.
